Since its inception in 2016, APSCo Australia’s Certified Staffing Professional Program (formerly Recruitment Professional Certification Program) has delivered a self-managed, knowledge-based Certification program that empowers consultants to have confidence in their understanding of the complex elements of compliance when managing talent and clients.

The Certification Program has been designed to inform and update recruiters and staffing professionals throughout their career, from new talent entering the profession through to the more seasoned recruiter or staffing professional - equipping them with the compliance knowledge and support to significantly drive their conversations with clients and candidates to achieve best practice processes and support commercial success.

What does getting certified involve?

Enrolment in the APSCo Certified Staffing Professional Program is open to any individual in the Australian recruitment and staffing industry.

Staff can enrol as independant students or businesses can enrol staff in groups with discounts available for groups of 5 or more.

APSCo Australia Members receive a 50% discount off of the full retail price for enrolment. See below for details.

There are six modules that make up the content required to be completed to obtain Certification.

Each module allows up to three attempts to achieve the pass mark of 100% with question specific feedback given only after a 70% qualifying mark is achieved.

A module completion certificate is issued upon passing each module with a certification certificate being issued following completion of all 6 modules within a six month timeframe.

Further attempts following repeat fails will be treated on a case by case basis with coaching support available.

APSCo Certified Staffing Professionals have access to exclusive logos and a position statement that can be used on any digital or printed material to support them to promote their knowledge and compliance and stand out from the crowd.

Certified Staffing Professionals are listed in the APSCo Staffing Professional Directory and have continued access to the training materials with any changes or updates being notified by email.

There are no renewal requirements under the current certification process for as long as the Staffing Professional maintains an active account with APSCo Australia.
