HIGHLIGHTS FROM EMERGE 2023
APSCo Australia's full-day, face-to-face conference for recruitment industry leaders and managers; Emerge 2023 was back with a bang!
Held at Sydney's spectacular Museum of Contemporary Arts, one of Australia's most culturally significant and inspiring spaces, Emerge 2023 brought together legal and cyber-security experts, heads of industry, progressive thinkers, business leaders and technology masterminds who took attendees on a deep dive into the future of work, as well as contemplated the complexities of an uncertain economy, renewed cyber-security threats and changing workplace legislation.
Westpac's Besa Deda returned to Emerge this year and helped set an important back-drop for our conference by diving head frist into an up-to-date look at the economy. Following the success of Emerge last year, Emerge 2023 featured unique keynote presentations, discussion panels, and Q&A sessions - where attendees walked away with a roadmap to negotiate the evolving staffing and recruitment landscape.
Attendees also got the chance to witness local-Sydney artist, Don Paull, of Fangaroo.at work in the MCA, with highlights of Emerge 2023 visually documented on a canvas mural. We concluded the day with canapes and networking drinks overlooking Sydney's stunning harbour and also raised some funds for charity with the auction of the Emerge 2023 mural.
